It all started when Padja and I booked a rehearsel room to muck about with some ideas. One thing led to another and the result was some crude recordings of the song "Spasm of Death". Still in its infant stage, but already tentative enough to lure Padja's long-time friend and drummer Dmitri into the ranks. And thus Fentanyl was born. Starting as a 3-piece but without the name as yet.
A change of scene brought the three into y.t. and Eddie's old neighbourhood. The house we'd been raised in and most adjoining houses as well had been vacated, and proved to be a fruitful albeit short-lived practice area. That area no longer exists, but we'll leave it to the reader to decide what caused its demise...
From there on Eddie started to show his ugly face more often than not, so it was decided for the sake of peace to give the man a job. We now had a lead-singer, so I could concentrate a bit more on the bass. With Padja spewing out more and more material, and Eddie and me writing more lyrics, we got to the stage that an album seemed a good idea. So that's when Feeble Existence started to take shape. We also found a name to call ourselves, and more material got written to fill up the album. What you have in front of you, or if you downloaded on your computer or mp3-player, is the result of over 2 years of hard work.
Cheers,
Pos
